BSN Soft Touch™ Double First Base

Leadoff hitters will make every swing count with this Soft Touch® Double First Base as their destination. Made with separate orange and white sides, this base allows the runner and fielder to stand on separate bags to reduce the chance of dangerous collisions. Players can slide safely, as the progressive release design flexes and absorbs energy from sliding runners or pops off its mount in the event of a hard slide to minimize the risk of injury. Every athlete can play with intensity thanks to the cut-resistant polyurethane construction that holds up to cleat pressure all season long.

With the Soft Touch double first base, both fielder and runner have their own base, to reduce the chance of collision. Molded from a cut-resistant polyurethane, the 7” stem fits into a ground mount. Orange side is anchored under base with a hammer-in spike that is provided. Note: This base is not a release style base due to the dual anchor system.
